Yes, thanks SO much Jeff, for doing such an excellent job in organizing this. You spend a lot of time and effort on this and the whole event went like clockwork. It was most informative and I enjoyed meeting everyone. 'Hope that we can meet again. Enjoy your week.

The Adams County tour (past Saturday) was great fun. Jeff did a super job of putting together a FAB day. We experienced the passion and knowledge of goat farmers and a 5th generation apple farmer who has just received organic certification; the yummy breads of an artisan baker and his delicious café offerings and took in the views (though cloudy and wet) at a family winery. The ONLY thing missing was better promotion (our weakest link!). Thanks Jeff, for a great tour; you are definitely helping to put our chapter on the map!

Hello,
I read about your visit to Adams County to experience local foods. I would be glad if you would add our farm as an Adams County destination for your group members. We raise pastured, organically fed beef, pork, chicken, turkeys, goats, eggs, and vegetables. We are located in the northern part of the county, two miles north of York Springs, just one mile off route 15. We are not certified organic, but have used only organic, sustainable methods for the 23 years we have been on our farm. Farm visits are welcome and encouraged. Please call 717-701-2783 to be sure someone will be home. Thank you.

I heard this event was fantastic, despite the rainy conditions. Only wish I'd known about it. Thanks for the great work you're doing for Slow Food. I'm a fan and plan to join the group.
